Ye, teh beta is released..
I might download..

You can just use a program to run Se7en without installing it fully, ta see if u like it or no.
I stay with my Vista until it dies or I get a Se7en laptop/or desktop for my B'Day.
BTW: I think some laptops with Se7en cored into the laptop, the screen might be an IT screen (touch screen, use your grubby fingers and put grease all over the screen while opening up windows)
ALSO AVAILABLE ON DESKTOPS^^^If you have a compatable moniter.

Yea, my brother has the beta on his Macbook Pro and its not that bad... i would not really use it for my games until it gets out of BETA

^^ yes most definitely, but over the past month of it release, they have had quite a few coding errors that are now fixed.

i was originally planning to dl vista earlier this year once SP1 came out but decided to wait for 7 since it will be faster and more advanced than vista

I agree with you. Right now, I don't see any reason for me to buy Windows 7 when it comes out since I'm fine right now with Windows Vista.

I think 7 will be shipped as a managed Vista with some fixes, IE8, and less default services and applications. I read a bit on it and watched a few videos but it doesn't interest me.. And knowing Microsoft with their beta's, I will hold off 'till it goes live in 2010.

-On a side note: Anyone try IE8? I did for 1 hour and it crashed 2 times.

Never tried vista, but my friend has it and its so slow on his pc, I want a fast PC and looking for the W7 videos it looks pretty good.
Ill not buy the original, no way. Pirated ftw biggrin
