-On a side note: Anyone try IE8? I did for 1 hour and it crashed 2 times.
I happen to be using Windows Internet Explorer 8 Beta 2 right now SNiPE lol. Unforunately, the website and forums don't seem to be supported with IE 8:

As you can see, there are all these spaces that turn white. I would say that is a problem, but I'm not sure if it can be fixed or not. =/

I probably could have guessed that lol. The weird thing is, the option to turn on compatability mode isn't available on this site, and it clearly isn't fully compatable with the browser.

Correction: The browser is not compatible with the site. We were here first.
About you not being able to open the file: Its an .aspx (.avi) video file hosted on microsoft servers. YOU either do not use Windows Media Player by default or do not have basic video codecs.
I needed to dream only of it, my computer is very old for such system!!!
