OK so kinda fucked up my codecs and installed some shitty ones that only work with dvds. now i can't play .avi's. and im missing one of the installs to the original so they still dont work

finding good free codecs are a bitch so anyone who has any links or has installs for codecs, please post it would be very helpful seeing as making out with your gf aint that great when there's just audio playing and no video dry

well, i sujjest ya dump yer shtitty media player entirely and just download/redownload real player and use that.

just DL divx player almost all the video codecs come with the install. Dont have to use it just download and install. smile

If anyone is good enough at a PC, they can fix anything on their computer. I fixed my lag on single player of SA, have on lowest settings. I had same prob as tex once, I downloaded an .avi codec and it worked fine. And pimp's suggestion will work as well.

uh lets see, have divx already, reinstalled everything clean multiple times, downloaded many .avi and codec packs, still i get nothing. so what was that about a computer pro can solve all their computer problems on their own? i beg to differ. simple human errors are what cause problems. sometimes it takes two heads to figure out a solution.

any other help guys?

fixed it! it was the lug nut. not really but my realtek hd audio driver kept changing my default sound device. piece of shit

I had a problem, lol, with that Realtek HD Audio. Found out it was on STone Corridor thing, LOL.
