| ^^ yea, a good quality game is nothing with shitty fps my video card has 512 mb of ram. now i can't remember the shit to make sure this is all correct but i believe my card would out perform a GTX 285 twofold or close to it. snipe, does texture fill rate refer to the GPU core or ram?. i'm thinking ram, but it would be 190%+ faster than a 285's texture fill rate

| Well...I can just say that my FPS isnt shitty....CoD4 runs really facking fast, just like GRID and Crysis.

| I think it is core calculated as it is one of the first things you see on your screen. (Might be held in RAM tho.)
-Wireframe, then textures, then light, shadow etc GPU REVIEW:
The number of textured pixels the card can render to the screen every second.
To render a 3D scene, textures are mapped over the top of polygon meshes.
This is called texture mapping and is accomplished by texture mapping units (TMUs) on the videocard.
Texture fill rate is a measure of the speed with which a particular card can perform texture mapping. How To Calculate It: Texture Fill Rate = (# of TMUs) x (Core Clock) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

| you are right snipe it is the core speed. i was looking around and found that out an hour or two after asking that. NUMBERs!!!!!!!

| Yeah I dunno about you Luigi, but when I play Crysis using a 8600gt, 4 gigs of ram and a amd 6000 x2 processor, I only get like 20 fps on high. I'm not sure I even saw it go over 35 with most stuff set on low.
