| oh yea so guess what. bout 2 months ago my friend brought over his ps3. we couldn't get it to work with the wireless internet so we set it in a dmz. reinstalled windows xp 2 nights ago. out of no where i get a rapidshare virus scanner/firewall and a bunch of gay porn downloaded onto (luckily only) my C drive. NOT. COOL. stayed up an extra 4 hours reinstalling everything. now it's all good lol. this time i'm using my FW and AV, unlike before when i just used windows firewall. never got a virus then, but that shows how easy it is to hack through it. i think our router firewall is a wep2 or wap2 wpa2. something starting with a W, ending with a 2, and maybe having an A in it lol

| Tex it sounds like you had a trojan dialer installed. They are designed to open a door in your firewall to allow an incoming connection. A reinstallation of Windows is usually always needed because at the time of infection the PC is allready completely comprimised. (Damage done) Riddle me this though: Firefox user?

| yes i do use firefox. and no damage was done. my D drive (which has everything on it, etc... downloads and whatnot) was safe. nothing on there. scanned multiple times
