ok guys i got the new PC rockin and damn sa-mp will not work on it ... it is a damn vista install and single player works great ... but for sa-mp i see all the servers and everything works fine as far as that goes ... but when i connect to any server i get

Server is not responding ...

then it will just continue to try to connect but i never get anywhere ... i looked at almost everything that i can find ... compatibility mode, reinstall sa-mp, make sure that D3D9 is not in the GTA SA folder but nothing seams to work ... any help would be greatly appreciated wink

Tried reinstalling GTA? sorry but that is all I can do to help -.-

hmm, i didn't have that problem. i just installed SA, patched it, dl'd samp and installed, and it ran fine.
good that it's fixed, tho. which vista are you using?

HP meh rather not but dont wanna risk my warranty ... btw fix was weird ... started single player, played 1st lil bit till i could make a game save then i got yet another stupid fuckin vista prompt (which everything should have been off) and now have access ... weird in my eyes but meh it works

SA-MP uses pre configured ini files instead of the ones used in game (cars/environment etc)
-I had the same problem before and SA-MP has even removed my saved game 3 or 4 times now.
I'm thinking you needed the save files present in order for it to work... but who knows.

I will get ahold of ya tonite PiMP when I am home around 7 or so.
