just upgraded to it a couple days ago. been working, mostly to my expectations. i did expect it to lag somewhat but in some cases it seems to almost lock up or stutter a lot when i would give my hard drive a good work out with reads and writes. xp had better stabilty, you could say.

How's the compatability working? I just realized I have an x86/64 processor and was debating the switch.
I hear that it only benefits 64 bit applications like Adobe n shit..?

well i can't really say. as much as i've used it, i haven't actually done any benchmarks. and i haven't tested the 32 bit version before so i don't know of any differences.

Adobe programs do run quite smooth though. when i had photoshop and illustrator on here, it made mince meat of some pretty large files.
